A Lazy Saturday

2008 May 3

This morning Becks and I woke up and instead of getting up and cleaning the house we laid in bed and watched television.  Eventually I got up and made coffee but instead of being productive, I decided to read few more chapters of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.  It was a great way to spend the morning.

Later on instead of cleaning the house or working in the yard we decided that we would go up to Thomasville to see Made of Honor.   Before the movie we went and had lunch at Henderson’s.  They serve really good hamburgers along with fried chicken and catfish.  I had a Philly Cheesesteak while Becks had a cheesebuger.  She also got a side of onion rings that I helped her eat.

The movie was a chick flick but it was a decent one.  It ended the way you would assume it would, (with the guy getting the girl), but if it had not the movie would not have been as entertaining.  Romantic comedies are supposed to have a happy ending!

After the movie we headed towards downtown Thomasville.  Becks wanted to check out a shop and grab an ice cream while I wanted to go to Relish and pick up some tea.  The skies had changed from sunny to foreboding as we arrived downtown but we were able to get the tea, ice cream and browse before it started to rain.

On our way home we stopped to do some grocery shopping so that we would not have to travel anywhere but to and from church tomorrow.
