The Arrival of Aunt Pam

Aunt Pam arrives in Tallahasee

Aunt Pam was scheduled to arrive at the Greyhound bus station in Tallahassee, Florida at 12:15 p.m. Mason, Becks and I arrived at the station a few minutes beforehand and watched the people getting off.  About 15 minutes after she was scheduled to arrive we saw her walking towards us, carrying a large tote bag and pulling her suitcase.

We ran out to meet her and I took her suitcase for her.  Becks said hello and handed Mason to her.  She was very excited to meet her grand-nephew and on our way up to Thomasville, Georgia she sat in the back with him.  She thought he was absolutely adorable and smiled at her.

When we got to Thomasville we decided to grab some lunch at Henderson’s before heading over to Broad Street for some window shopping.  Mason was very well behaved during our trip and slept most of the time in his stroller.  Meanwhile, I sat on numerous outdoor benches and took in the beautiful South Georgia weather while Becks and Aunt Pam popped in and out of various shops.

After we got home I ran up to Johnston’s Meat Market to pick up some steaks for dinner.  Steve and Charlotte then joined us at our house and we had a nice evening sitting outside before enjoying a good meal of rib eyes, baked potatoes and salad.
