Cleaning the House for the Arrival of Marcia and Andy
Becks friend Marcia from Covington, Georgia is stopping by for a quick visit on Friday night. Her and her husband are going to Destin for a beach vacation and wanted to see Mason before they headed into the Panhandle.
As a result, when we got home from work this evening Becks and I cleaned the house to make it presentable for guest. The first thing we did was to make the bed in the guest bedroom with clean sheets. After this was done Becks spent time with Mason while I dusted, swept and swiffered all of the floors.
Once the floors were clean I took over watching Mason while Becks mopped both bathrooms and the kitchen. We then switched again while I scrubbed the two toilets and cleaned the bathroom mirrors.
While this was all going on Becks was doing laundry, drying it and then folding towels. It was a very busy nights and it paid off as the house is now nice and clean.
please tell me how to get seth to work like this!
I think it stems from my mom making me help her clean the house when we were little. I think Seth is probably a lost cause by now. However, there is hope for Mikey. Train him early and his future wife will be a very happy lady!
so true. he sort of helps now, but we have to make it a game. i am looking forward to when i can just make him do things without having to supervise or clean up more afterward!!!
