Boss’s Day Breakfast
This morning on our way into work Becks and I stopped in a Tupelo’s Bakery for some breakfast. After chatting with Kim and Claire and grabbing a delicious breakfast bread we dropped Mason off at Ms. Cherrie’s. Once Becks was at her place of employment I headed over to my office.
When I opened the door I noticed that there was quite a spread of food in the conference room. We usually have bagels on payday but never eggs. biscuits and fruit. After putting my stuff in my office I opened my e-mail and learned that today was Boss’s Day and that all of the assistants had made breakfast for the attorney’s. How nice!
Despite the fact I had already eaten first breakfast I figured I still had some room in me for a second one. Everyone hung around the conference room table for an hour of so as billable hours and office productivity sank. Il Duce told some crazy stories about Gadsden County while Tally Shoe Girl filled us in on her bathroom renovations. It was a nice way to start my Thursday morning and everything that people brought in was very good.

Hey!
Nobody did anything for me yesterday!
Well they worked, so I guess I’ll take that is progress…..
Working fir the boss is always a positive!
boss is getting out of dodge and up for a long overdue visit to shadythicket. I’ll be up next thursday.
gonna be at Tupelo’s handing out treats if they have the halloween thing in town. I;ll be the one in the Satan costume.
Really? Then I just might have to say hello to you! We’re planning on bringing Mason uptown for the Halloween festivities instead of hanging at the house.
Saw you. Was hanging out at Tupelo’s.
Sitting on the park bench across from Claire’s husband who was giving out candies.
Didn’t wish to bug.
What? I didn’t see ya! It’s a small town, you’re allowed to say hello and it not be bugging. Damn S. FL conditioning.
Regardless, it was pretty cool walking around downtown for trick-or-treat. I need to still write about it. Never did anything like that in NH and I really enjoyed it!
