Brewsday Tuesday: Miller Genuine Draft

December 20, 2011

Name: Miller Genuine Draft

Brewed by:  Miller Brewing Co.

Style/ABV: American Adjunct Lager / 4.66%

Appearance: Pours a clear straw yellow with a thin one finger head.  There is a respectable amount of lacing left in the glass as the beer is choked down.

Smell: Sweet corn malts with a slight earthy hoppiness in the background.

Taste: Corn and a bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Light body with high carbonation.

Overall: As American Adjunct Lagers goes this one is not horrible, but it is not my favorite by a long short.  It has less flavor than PBR and is harsher.  Glad my co-worker only gave me one of these as I am not sure I could wade through a six-pack of these.

Final Grade: D
