Easter 2013

March 31, 2013

We woke the kids up for sunrise service.  Before heading to the field off Old Rococo Road they discovered the baskets left by the Easter Bunny.  Mrs. Easter Bunny worked very hard last night to make sure the babies got something special.  In addition to candy, Mason got some cool NASCAR cars and a United States puzzle while Miss Julia got some hair bows a heart necklace, and heart bracelet.

Easter service was wonderful.  It is my favorite one of the year and it was pretty to see the sun rise as the pastor talked about the resurrection of Jesus.  We had breakfast at our church and then headed home to make dinner.  Ham, mac ‘n cheese, green beans, and sweet potato souffle were on the menu and we had everything ready just as Courtney, Seth and their three kids arrived.

We ate outside and then let the kids run around and play.  We also had an Easter egg hunt on the side of the house before ending the evening watching Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments.   We had a good Easter and it was a joy sharing the day with friends and family.

What a beautiful job Becky did on the Easter baskets. Very professional. Great mom, great Mrs. Easter Bunny.
