Danny’s Collision vs. Fulford Farms

April 9, 2013

Tonight Mason got to play pitcher, which meant he got to field a lot of balls.  He did pretty well throwing the ball to first, though the coach had to remind him not to run into the outfield after the ball.

The highlight of the night, aside from talking to TJ when he was batting, was hitting his first home run.  He hit it at his first at bat when it when straight up the infield and then rolled all the way to the fence.  He had a big smile on his face as he walked towards the dugout.

When Ell is pitcher, he has the same issue: he goes for all the balls. He’s getting better at knowing where the invisible line is that denotes it’s another kid’s to get.
